The Gilmer Area Chamber of Commerce is an active association of local
business owners and individual members whose primary desire is in promoting commerce, tourism and charity in Upshur County. We offer opportunities for social networking and education to businesses by hosting ribbon cuttings for new members, charity events for the community and meet and greet socials for the business community. One of our biggest activities is to promote tourism for Upshur and the surrounding areas. We help promote tourism with
brochures and maps and by sponsoring events that attract visitors. If
