This year we will be adding a jackpot for the longest stringers for the dog and the trapping teams. The hogs must be able to walk of their own accord across the scales to qualify. The jackpot will be completely voluntary but the payout is 100%. Also this year we are going to have the capt. of each team with our weighing crew so that there will be no discrepancy in the weights turned in. Each dog team will be allowed to have 2 helpers ($50 charge per helper) with their team but they will not be able to share in the prize money.
Also, if you want to trap you can, if not you can still dog and gun hunt.Prize money is still 75% payback for all three categories, so when we get lots of teams the pot gets bigger and the money won is a whole lot more. All prizes will be awarded Sunday the 20th so no more waiting.
Dog Teams – 4 Member Team – $350 per Team
Gun Teams – 2 Member Team – $250 per Team
Trapping Team – 2 Member Team – $250 per Team
Note: Anyone who would like to hunt from out of state needs to make sure and get a temporary weekend hunting license for the event. You can get one at Wal-Mart or Academy Sports in our area. See official rules & entry forms for more information.
